Privacy policy — AI Senseek
Last updated: 26 October 2026 · Applies to AI Senseek only
What this app stores on your PC
AI Senseek builds a search index of the folders you explicitly approve: file names, paths, text chunks and semantic vectors. The index lives in a local folder you choose during setup.
The semantic model ships with the application and runs locally. No query and no document is sent anywhere for processing.
Scanned PDFs may be passed to the OCR engine already installed on your system, locally, to recover their text layer.
Query history is stored locally and can be cleared at any time, or switched off entirely.
Folder-level control
- Only folders you select are indexed. Nothing else on the disk is read.
- Each folder can be set to excluded (skipped entirely — not even its name is stored), normal, or preferred.
- A folder can be limited to filename-only recall, in which case its documents are never read.
What is never collected
- No account, no sign-in, no cloud sync.
- No telemetry or usage analytics.
- No document, excerpt, vector or query leaves the machine.
- No third-party network requests, and no model downloads on first run.
Network access
The application does not require network access to function. It works fully offline.
Storage and deletion
- The index is a set of local files. Deleting it removes the index completely; it can be rebuilt by re-indexing.
- Removing a folder from the index deletes its entries.
- Uninstalling the app removes the application files; data folders you created remain until you delete them.
Purchases
Paid features are sold through the Microsoft Store. Payment details are handled entirely by Microsoft; the developer sees only aggregate sales reports.
Children
The application is a general-purpose desktop tool, is not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone.
